Warner Bros logic when it comes to the DCEU:
Studio Head: "Okay, first, we rush the movie into production, so whatever the first draft of the screenplay is, go with that. Film everything, multiple takes, multiple versions. Okay, now cut all that footage down to two hours. Doesn't matter if none of it makes any sense, just do it! Now release it in theaters. Oh, and if critics hate it, just say Disney/Marvel paid them off to bash it. Lastly, take all that extra footage, and put it on the DVD and Blu Rays, so we get even more of the profit that way. Rinse and report six more times."
Low Level Studio Employee: "Um, couldn't we take our time polishing the script, film only what we need, and release the full, good version of the movie in theaters the first time around, instead of throwing a half-assed version out there, which will further ruin our already damaged reputation?"
(Low Level Studio Employee is thrown out of the window.)
