Do you know if there is any scene where a woman’s shirt rides up to expose belly button in the Friday Night Light series? Like unintentional belly exposure or shirt lift due to stretching?

00swatcher I don’t recall anything specific, it’s been a long time since the show came out. Adrianne’s character wears a lot of short shirts that shows her lower stomach, so her shirt probably rises up a few times. There’s also cheerleader scenes featuring other actresses, so maybe there too.

May I ask a question? Considering your gimmick is that you watch movies and TV series from the 2000s because that’s when cropped tops and hiphuggers were in the height of their popularity, why do you limit your posts to just accidental exposure? If the entire midriff is exposed at any given point, why only care about the accidental peaks? It’s like watching Bring It On, where it’s wall to wall bellybuttons, but only caring about one scene where a sliver of lower belly is showing.

MikeBrooklyn If you want to know the truth, it is because it is a good way to see the midriff/belly button of an actress who barely wears exposing clothing in public. Some of the actresses posted on here have one scene where they are undressed, and never show anything after that for the rest of their film career or real life. Or actresses who currently avoid belly exposure. Look at the Ellie Kemper or Emily Deschanel threads. So if they have an accidental belly exposure in a movie or show, it would technically be a rare moment you get to see what their belly looks like apart from some grainy footage or censored nudity. I guess the element of surprise is sort of an appeal for this type of belly exposure. I hope that answers your question?

Edit: Also hiphuggers are a 1970s pant that just fits at the hip and stomach area. Low rise pants are any type of pant that is either several inches below the belly button or at hip level and seemed to be at their peak aroind 2002-2010.

Actually, no, that didn’t answer the question. Yes, it makes sense, but only if it’s a celebrity who has never shown her bellybutton ever. Asking for accidental peaks from actresses who have willingly bared their bellybuttons, that I don’t get. Same with posting accidental peaks from movies where said actress was in a cropped top or bikini in that same movie.

Oh, and I use hip-huggers and low-rise interchangeably.

I can kinda try to answer that too. When someone is wearing a crop top, they are allowing, and importantly, intentionally showing you their stomach, and their belly button. But when someone is lifting their arm up for example, and their belly button accidentally starts showing, it’s seeing them in a vulnerable position. They don’t know their belly button is showing, but you do. It’s always about seeing their belly button in a different position, like it stretched out.

So maybe, yes, you’ve seen an actress’ belly button before, but when it’s accidental, in that moment in time, they don’t necessarily want to be showing it to you. I kinda feel the same when a someone intentionally lifts their shirt up, it’s them allowing you to see their stomach, but when that shirt is down, they’re not.
