2. Let me see if I understand Sony's logic correctly. You sell parts of Spiderman to Marvel Studios so you can put him in the MCU and have everyone make money from it's guaranteed success. But you keep Venom because you want to produce a solo movie about him, completely separate from all of Spiderman. That's so stupid.
3. Why?!!? I just wanted Venom to fight Spiderman in the MCU but noooo, fans couldn't get that. Instead, you made a dumb movie and released a boring trailer for it, which I bet contains all of it's best footage.
Because you don't consider the sheer amount of d*ck measuring that goes on behind the scene with movie studio executives. Every producer in Hollywood wants to outdo Kevin Feige. They don't care if what they do makes sense or not, so long as they make more money than Feige does.
